Process injection is the execution of code in the address space of a separate live process. Adversaries may use platform-specific injection methods to evade process-based defenses or gain access to the target process's memory, resources, or privileges. The parent technique covers distinct Windows, Linux, and macOS sub-techniques; it should not be treated as one interchangeable API sequence.
