MITRE ATT&CK T1055, Process Injection, describes executing code in the address space of another live process. Depending on the method and target context, this may evade process-based defenses or provide access to resources or higher privileges; neither outcome is guaranteed. ATT&CK maps the technique to Stealth and Privilege Escalation across Linux, Windows, and macOS. An Internet-facing variant is possible for the listed Windows PowerSploit implementation only when the target's PowerShell remoting/WinRM endpoint is reachable from external addresses and the caller has authorized credentials and access to the target process; other variants and deployments are not thereby Internet-accessible.
