Use Windows Task Scheduler, including schtasks.exe, locally or against an authorized remote Windows host to register a program or script for one-time, startup, logon, or recurring execution. Remote registration requires network access to the target's management services and administrative authentication; Internet reachability is deployment-specific. The selected trigger, action, and run-as principal determine how the task behaves. Registration alone does not establish that the configured action ran successfully.
