Abuse of Linux or macOS executables with the setuid (SUID) or setgid (SGID) bit set. When the operating system honors those bits, execution uses the file owner's effective UID or the file group's effective GID; a binary that exposes a useful action while retaining that identity can enable privilege escalation.
