In this procedure, sensitive data is compressed and symmetrically encrypted before being encoded into DNS query-name labels sent to an authorized, controlled domain. This represents exfiltration over an alternative DNS channel when DNS is not the established command-and-control channel. The DNS protocol itself remains unencrypted. Ordinary outbound DNS availability does not guarantee the traffic bypasses firewall policy or inspection. The listed commands do not implement DNS-safe chunking or receiver-side reassembly.
