DHCP Lease Renewal for IP-Based Control Testing

In an approved test network, release and reacquire a DHCPv4 lease on a test endpoint to assess whether monitoring and access policies rely too heavily on the endpoint's IPv4 source address. The server may assign the same address, so this procedure alone neither guarantees an IP change nor demonstrates a control bypass; compare the before/after configuration and test the specific control separately. Releasing a lease interrupts network connectivity; proceed only where the impact is acceptable and recovery access is available. No dedicated ATT&CK mapping is assigned.
