Send one HTTP(S) request to an explicitly supplied endpoint and inspect its response status and headers. This is an active-reconnaissance probe, not a remote-login procedure or vulnerability test. Any HTTP response, including 401, 403, or 404, shows that the endpoint responded; it does not prove that the application is usable or exploitable. It can be performed from the Internet when the target service is publicly reachable; otherwise an appropriate network route is required.
