Adversaries may abuse Visual Basic and derivative languages to execute code. The documented Windows procedures here are alternatives: run VBScript (.vbs) with Windows Script Host (wscript.exe or cscript.exe), run a VBScript-bearing HTML Application (HTA) with mshta.exe, or trigger a VBA macro in a macro-enabled Office document. An HTA only maps to T1059.005 when its script uses VBScript; HTAs can also use other scripting languages.
