Internet Connection Discovery

Adversaries may test whether a compromised system can reach the Internet or a known command-and-control endpoint. A single HTTPS or TCP reachability probe can show whether the tested destination and path respond and may reveal routing or proxy behavior; it does not transfer data. A result for one endpoint does not establish general Internet connectivity.
