A Golden Ticket is a forged Kerberos ticket-granting ticket (TGT) created with a key for the domain's KRBTGT account. The TGT carries the selected principal and PAC identity data and can be presented to the domain KDC to request service tickets. The KRBTGT key must already have been obtained; obtaining it is a separate credential-access procedure. This sub-technique covers TGT forgery, not legitimate PKINIT requests, ticket extraction from LSASS, or pass-the-ticket injection.
