Adversaries taint content in shared storage, such as network drives or internal code repositories, by adding malicious programs, scripts, or exploit code to new or otherwise valid files. When another user opens the tainted content, code may execute on that system, enabling lateral movement. The steps here provide only a harmless, authorized file-share simulation; they do not instruct payload creation or validate code execution.
