HTTP tunneling encapsulates network communications in HTTP or HTTPS to carry traffic through paths that filter other protocols or to reach otherwise inaccessible services. This record documents one Chisel reverse-SOCKS procedure: an authorized client initiates a tunnel to an operator-controlled server so operator-side TCP traffic can exit through the client's network. HTTP(S) carriage can blend with web traffic, but it does not guarantee bypass or evade detection.
