Abuse a specifically vulnerable, legitimately signed Windows kernel driver to exploit its driver-specific interface and execute attacker-controlled code in kernel mode. Depending on the affected driver, build, access controls, and exploit, this may enable privilege escalation or interference with security software; BYOVD is a common delivery pattern. A valid signature or driver presence alone does not establish exploitability.
