Abuse write or edit permissions on an existing domain Group Policy Object (GPO) to alter its policy contents, for example by adding an immediate computer task or adding an account to local Administrators. Changes affect only users or computers in the GPO's effective scope and only after the change has replicated through AD/SYSVOL and clients have processed policy; links, security/WMI filters, item-level targeting and configured policy settings determine actual impact. A direct Internet attempt is possible only if the required LDAP and SYSVOL SMB services are reachable from the Internet, and still requires valid domain credentials with effective write permissions.
Variant:
Relay machine authentication to LDAP and execute a SYSTEM service
