ADIDNS Record Manipulation

Manipulation of DNS records stored in Active Directory-integrated DNS can influence name resolution. Read-only enumeration does not grant write access: creating or changing a record depends on the effective zone/record ACL and secure dynamic-update permissions. A successful record write does not by itself prove traffic was redirected or credentials captured. Use a unique, approved test label and controlled address; do not assume wildcard records override existing names.
