This source-derived technique covers enabling Remote Desktop on a supported Windows host and then establishing an authorized remote interactive session. The pinned source also lists disabling Windows Firewall across all profiles as a candidate, but that broad change is not required for RDP and is excluded from the active procedure. Any test requires explicit authorization, administrative privilege for host configuration, an account permitted to log on through RDP, a supported host, network reachability, and policy-approved firewall access. Keep Network Level Authentication and scoped firewall controls enabled; enabling RDP exposes the host on reachable networks.
