Microsoft Sysinternals AD Explorer is a Windows graphical viewer and editor for Active Directory. It browses objects and attributes, searches the directory, modifies object attributes and permissions, saves snapshots, and compares snapshots for offline review. Directory access follows the connection identity; the default-domain connection uses the current account. Creating a snapshot scans the directory tree and can generate directory-read activity.
