Apache HTTP Server (httpd) is open-source web server software. Its mod_proxy module can map selected local URL paths to backend servers as a reverse proxy or gateway. In an authorized assessment, a configured route can relay HTTP C2 traffic when it is used to carry that channel; ordinary reverse proxying is not itself C2. Internet exposure depends on listener, routing, and access-control configuration. Apache is not an infrastructure-acquisition, file-upload, or firewall-evasion utility.
