Portable Chameleon Ultra hardware and its open-source firmware/CLI provide reader and emulation functions for HF 13.56 MHz ISO14443A and selected LF 125 kHz tags. The official support matrix includes MIFARE Classic 1K/2K/4K, MIFARE Ultralight/EV1, NTAG21x, and selected LF types; support is tag- and application-layer-specific, including no Ultralight C application-layer implementation, low-rate-only MIFARE Plus support, incomplete DESFire high-rate/application-layer support, and several incomplete LF application layers. It also supports MIFARE Classic key-recovery workflows. It is not a universal card copier; use it only with authorized test credentials.
