Defense Evasion

Abuses a legitimate Windows javaw.exe launcher by staging a copied or renamed launcher beside a modified jli.dll in a writable directory. When that launcher is run, Windows loads the adjacent DLL and its code executes in the javaw.exe process. This describes a documented Java launcher DLL-sideloading variant; the cited sources do not establish that every Java release is affected.
