Windows LAPS manages local administrator passwords on Windows devices. For Active Directory-backed deployments, use the Windows LAPS PowerShell module to enumerate extended-right holders on an OU and query the managed password for a specified computer or domain controller. Password retrieval depends on directory read rights and, when encryption is enabled, separate authorization to decrypt the password.
