WSUSpect Proxy is a legacy Python proof of concept that proxies unencrypted WSUS client traffic and injects fake update metadata. The 2015 research demonstrated that a vulnerable client can be induced to launch a Microsoft-signed binary through the Windows Update process, potentially executing commands as SYSTEM. The upstream project documents Windows 7/8 targets and Python 2.7; its README explicitly lists Windows 10 and Python 3 as unsupported.
