CrackMapExec (the legacy cme executable) is a Python network assessment tool that maps SMB hosts, checks supplied credentials, enumerates shares and other domain information, and supports authenticated remote administration functions. The original repository is archived and no longer maintained; the community project continued as NetExec (nxc). This record documents CrackMapExec 5.4.0 syntax and behavior, not current NetExec behavior.
