Credentials & User Impersonation

Common MIT Kerberos kinit usage obtains and caches initial credentials, typically a ticket-granting ticket (TGT), for a principal using a password, a client keytab, or a configured preauthentication mechanism such as PKINIT. A TGT lets the client request service tickets; obtaining one alone does not establish access to a particular service.
