Linux command-line time-correction utility provided by the NTPsec ntpsec-ntpdate package. Its ntpdate compatibility wrapper queries an NTP server and adjusts the local system clock, making it useful for correcting clock skew before Kerberos operations. It is a one-time adjustment tool, not a continuous time-synchronization daemon.
