The Windows inbox Service Control utility (sc.exe) queries and controls local or remote services through the Service Control Manager, including service creation, configuration, and start operations. An auto-start service can run at boot under its configured account (LocalSystem by default when no account is specified); sc.exe registers the referenced binary path but does not create that binary.
