Windows Update AutoUpdate Client (wuauclt.exe) can load and execute a caller-supplied DLL through /UpdateDeploymentProvider and /RunHandlerComServer. Public research and the LOLBAS entry document this behavior on Windows 10; applicability to other Windows releases is not established here.
